What We Believe

Christ is Head of the church
We affirm the biblical teaching that Christ is Head of the church. This means, among other things, that churches are under the authority of Christ not of any other body.

In the Bible
The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith. The Bible was written by divinely inspired authors and is the record of God's revelation of Himself to humankind.

In the virgin birth of Christ, that He died for our sins, and that He was resurrected
Our church, by its affirmation of the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message, demonstrates belief in Jesus' virgin birth, His death on the cross and His resurrection.

Salvation comes from Jesus Christ alone
Salvation involves the redemption of the whole person, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. Salvation comes by faith through grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and not of any works man does as Ephesians 2:8-9 declares.

In reaching a lost and hurting world
Our church has a passion for continuing to reach the lost and hurting in our world through missions, benevolence and caring ministries that proclaim the Lordship of Christ.
