Purpose of Bible Drill

The purpose of Children’s Bible Drill is to help children increase in their knowledge of the Bible, develop skills to effectively handle the Bible, learn how to apply the Bible to their lives, and begin developing memorization skills.


What Do Participants Learn?


During the year, drillers will learn:

RED CYCLE – 2011-2012 School Year
  1. Genesis 1:27 - So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
  2. Leviticus 22:31 - “Keep my commands and follow them. I am the LORD.”
  3. Deuteronomy 6:5 – Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
  4. 1 Chronicles 16:8 – Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.
  5. Job 37:14 – “Listen to this, Job; stop and consider God’s wonders.”
  6. Psalm 19:14 – May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
  7. Psalm 54:2 – Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth.
